"The government should do the right thing and set an example," said Bishop Geoff Davies, one of several faith leaders who spoke at the launch of the pan-African campaign called "We Have Faith Act Now for Climate Justice", at St George's Cathedral in Cape Town.
The campaign consists of a petition to world leaders attending the COP17 talks in Durban in December, a youth caravan that will leave Nairobi in early December bringing petitions from many African countries, and a mass rally at the King's Park Stadium on November 27 - the day before the international COP17 climate talks start in Durban.http://www.cop17-cmp7durban.com/
